The **Steel Battalion Cockpit** is a unique and elaborate controller designed for the original Xbox game **Steel Battalion**. Released on **November 20, 2002**, this controller features 44 input points, including buttons, joysticks, a throttle handle, a radio channel dial, five switches, an eject button, and three foot pedals.

Efforts by user `SantiagoSaldana` of `hackaday.io` have made it possible to use the Steel Battalion Cockpit on PCs via a `Teensy 3.6 / 4.1 Arduino Adapter`. This adapter translates the controller's input to emulated xinput. You can read more about the project here:
